Welcome to Washington Expose, the only podcast in America unafraid to go directly into the heart of Philadelphia in order to get a real sense of how African-Americans are continuing to be held back by Democratic policies -- providing microcosm analysis of the systemic problems facing all-Black communities nationwide. This is a very special episode as we are joined by former Philadelphia mayoral candidate Daphne Goggins, who happens to be Republican, Black, and a life-long resident of the North Philadelphia area who splays out in no uncertain terms the entire Democratic Party strategy in the run-up to the November elections -- and, it's shocking. Your hosts Bill Wilson, Carter Clews, and Larry Ward explore with Ms. Goggins her quest to become mayor as a Republican and the reception, or lack thereof, by the Republican Party to come to her assistance through the process. Ms. Goggins describes a startling view on why the Republican Party is non-existent there and why it has remained so for decades. Carter Clews provides a compelling scenario regarding where the real breakdown of African American families by social welfare policies that not only have perpetuated the problems but enhanced it by removing both fathers and mothers from the home, oh, and God, just to make matters worse. Ms. Goggins also describes a very moving aspect of how social justice is cyclically keeping folks from breaking free and becoming self-sufficient. With a particular determination, Ms. Goggins gives us the exact reasons why young Black men of today are easily triggered by Antifa dollars and causing the riots, looting, and unrest. As a life-long resident of Philadelphia, Ms. Goggins reminds us that the people of the City of Brotherly Love are good people, they have a remarkable history, are hard-working, and make beautiful families -- but, because of the oppressive policies holding many Philadelphians back.
