Cater brings us to Pennsylvania and the little, quaint All-American town of York, population just 44,000 and home to America’s First Fair, has become a rats nest of racial tension and the overall crime rate is 45% higher than the national average. Cater points out that if a small and idyllic city nestled in the Allegheny can become corrupted with fascist rule and painfully progressive policies, so can any city of our great land. Once thought to be a little town of Amish and apple pie, York is a very clear bellwether indicator of more national misery to come.
