Together, this “Troika of Truth” start the week off with a fast and deep dive into the rationale, or lack thereof, of what could ever possess Governor Cuomo and some his buddy governors to give the order to stuff already filled nursing homes in their states with elderly who have been diagnosed with COVID-19. It is common knowledge that the darkened, often sad corridors of nursing homes are nothing more than superhighways for every germ imaginable - why on Earth would the Governor make matters worse by actually putting the Coronavirus into those establishments is beyond any logic. In today’s show, the fellas also take a deep look at their fellow Baby-Boomers and provide possible answers as to why they are slapping masks on like lemmings -- the very same non-conformist generation that was quick to live by Timothy Leary’s “Turn on, tune in, drop out” culture. Perhaps the impact from anticipating the eve of destruction while hiding under their school desks might have been just as bad, if not worse, than if the big one actually did drop. After all, this was the generation that was trained to “hate your next-door neighbor, but don’t forget to say grace.” No small wonder.
