While the media and other leftist elites ignore the millions of folks living in “flyover” states, they do so at their own peril; it was this silent majority that put President Trump in the White House. Each week, Liberty Nation gives voice to the hard-working heartlanders who are silent no more.

One young man from Allen, TX, Patrick Crusius, began his killing spree in an El Paso WalMart parking lot, eventually moving inside the store, murdering 22 and injuring dozens of back-to-school shoppers.

Another shooter, Connor Betts, 24, opened fire a few hours later with a .223-caliber rifle with 100-round drum magazines as bars were closing in the trendy Oregon District of Dayton, OH. Betts wore an Antifa style mask, bulletproof vest, and hearing protection as he let loose a hail of bullets, killing nine people –including his own sister. Crusius, who penned an anti-immigrant and anit-Hispanic manifesto, surrendered. Betts, a radical left ideologist, Antifa champion, and avid Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) supporter, was killed by Dayton police within seconds of starting his moments of terror.

These incidents became a stepping-stone for the desperate Democrats running for president to use as fear mongering tactics. And, of course, the common sense, logical thinking folks from flyover country were on the offensive for their president and the Second Amendment, tamping down the irresponsible rhetoric flowing from the not-so-much-watched lame stream media.

As the two tragic mass shootings dominated the airwaves, Democratic politicians quickly attempted to blame President Trump for the hate-filled and mentally disturbed action of the shooters.

The most notable windbag was El Paso native Robert Francis O’Rourke. Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke, lagging far behind his co-contenders, lost his ever-loving mind and shouted down gathered reporters when asked if there was anything Trump could do now in the wake of the massacre: “What do you think? You know the s*** he’s been saying. He’s been calling Mexican immigrants rapists and criminals. I don’t know, like, members of the press, what the f***? I mean, connect the dots about what he’s been doing in this country. He’s not tolerating racism, he’s promoting racism. He’s not tolerating violence, he’s inciting racism and violence in this country. So, uhm, you know, I just-I don’t know what kind of question that is.”

Let’s face it: This reaction really shouldn’t be surprising coming from a man who lost the Senate and went to neighboring New Mexico to eat dirt for his spiritual health.

He’s not all that great under pressure, it would seem. Heartlanders were quick to point out his other lack of abilities, as well. From Paintsville, KY, JC Jeanetta Stone Blanton reminded us: “low or no polls numbers This guy is a loser and has been for years. Just look at his criminal history.”

Jose Flores of Houston, TX, weighed in on Facebook: “He’s from El Paso, all he has been doing is giving speeches! Why isn’t he doing something to really help with this tragedy?”

And then from the Great Lakes area of Macintosh, MN, Avril Du Vin predicted that “Beto be looking for a new gig soon 1% is exactly where he should be polling.”

But Texan Alice Griffin laid all the cards face up on the table: “I live in El Paso, TX and this desperate fool, has never done anything for El Paso!! He is a total embarrassment. I have often wondered if he is drug inflicted. Trouble maker, creepy, and has said in the past that he often had the thoughts of running over children. He’s an opportunist, and taking this tragedy in our city for political gain. Beto, go away, you are not going anywhere nationally. Believe me there are lots of people in El Paso embarrassed by what comes out of his desperate mouth. Open borders, take the walls down, impeach Trump, racist this and that. I am Hispanic from El Paso, and am totally disgusted by Robert Francis (Beto) O’Rourke!!!! God bless El Paso, our nation and our President…”

Frankly, Alice didn’t leave much to say on the matter.
